MOTHERHOOD

I was greeted in the front yard by a cheeky and sweet little smile that introduced herself so excitedly. I vividly remember walking along the front fence to the entry, peaking in. A spider had spun a web between gorgeous maple trees and the family waiting my arrival and the bright sunshine filled the space behind it. Creative energy was ignited, instantly. The warm energy by her momma and her grandmother made me feel warm and fuzzy myself. They welcomed me into their home. Rays of the afternoon sunshine were gushing in. We talked about the season of young kids. We lazed into the lounge and got to know each other. Parts of the home were ventured into. Comfort was enjoyed. Fun was had. An outdoor bath was run, flowers were picked. The trampoline was jumped on. Grandma jumped too. Petals were counted. Cartwheels were spun. Loving embraces by three generations were given. Faces of beautiful gals were drenched in the dipping sunshine. I left with the biggest heart of honey, the full moon was rising over the ocean, and I felt most at home and beyond content.
